Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and versatile individual to join our team as an Admin Assistant/General Laborer. This role is crucial in supporting various administrative tasks while also assisting with general labor duties for our staging company to ensure the smooth operation of our small business! It is vital that you are adaptable and flexible in the work you can do as we are still a growing business with employees that wear “many hats.”

Administrative Support:

  • Utilize QuickBooks Online to maintain daily and monthly receipt reconciliation and update employee records.
  • Utilize WordPress in maintaining and updating the company website and portal.
  • Use Microsoft Office to create documents, maintain spreadsheets, and create presentations.
  • Use DocuSign to send forms/documents to be electronically signed.
  • Use Adobe Photoshop for small photo editing tasks that may come up.
  • Utilize Zapier in marketing campaigns.
  • Utilize the Apple Mac system in maintaining electronic files, communicating schedule changes, digitizing files and checking company emails.
  • Assist in Marketing/Sales meetings with different offices to promote our business.
  • Use Sortly to maintain staging inventory.
  • Utilize HouseCall Pro to help schedule clients and upkeep client records.
  • Utilize DropBox to help organize project photos
  • Utilize Evernote to prioritize tasks and communicate completed items with the owner.

General Labor:

  • Assist in staging jobs as needed including lifting items up to 50lbs, carefully packing items from the warehouse for jobs, and managing warehouse cleanliness.
  • Complete minimal landscaping tasks around the property.
  • Assist in light maintenance tasks around the properties.
  • Support the team as needed in different capacities.

Requirements:

  • Must be smoke free/drug free. We are a no tolerance workplace.
  • Must be able to type at least 35WPM.
  • Must have experience filing, using general office equipment, and using Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs, stand, lift, sit, bend and carry various items.
  • Must be kind, reliable, trustworthy, adaptable and have a good attitude.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must keep personal cell phone use to a minimum.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to perform physical tasks as required for general labor duties.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, etc.).
  • Proven basic bookkeeping skills are preferred.

Job Environment/ Schedule:

You will be working out of a home office where pets are present. This is an in-office, full-time position with 32-40 hours per week. Typical work hours are 8am-5pm M-F.

Wage and Benefits:

$19/hr starting wage depending on experience. Minimal software experience necessary; We are willing to train the right person!
